Dozens of people enjoyed a nice meal on Sunday as a way to raise money for a great cause.
Mike’s Village Restaurant in Dimondale held a spaghetti dinner helping out the community’s food and personal need pantries. One of the event sponsors tells us it’s all about helping groups who try to help others.
“This is our fourth or fifth year at Mike’s Village Restaurant. He is actually closed on Sundays and so he opens just for this special event,” said Lori Conarton co-chair of Dimondale Development Committee. “People of our community have overwhelmingly supported this event and helped contribute financially to keep our food and personal needs pantries going forward.”
Mike’s Village Restaurant and all the staff spent the whole week preparing the food so Sunday’s event could happen.
