To all the great folks who have supported my father’s restaurant I sincerely appreciate your support, love and loyalty. I feel the need to apologise to everyone. Employees, friends, family our regulars for Mike’s closing.
For a while now my father and I have been talking and trying to figure out how to keep Mike’s open. It’s a bit of a shock this has happened so fast.
I have spent my entire life at our familys restaurant and it’s really hard for me to imagine life without it. I want to thank all the employees past and present for your hard work and dedication. To all customers past and present thanks for your support and friendship, we couldn’t have made it this long without you.
I have read all the comments and I appreciate all the kind words and memories, my heart hurts for all the broken hearts!

Known for its scratch made baked goods and friendly atmosphere customers were shocked, when a week ago the family owned business announced on Facebook that Saturday May 12th would be its final day.
A surge of customer support since then had an unexpected consequence, they ran out of food sooner than expected and posted that Saturday, May 5th would be their final day for business. Owner Mike Chapple says business had declined in recent years and he felt the time had come to close the business. Hundreds of comments showing support and sadness are posted on their Facebook page as well as a message of thanks from the owner. The Restaurant first opened on June 4th 1968
